PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tiao Macale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Keller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Macale has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
26 - 9 - 1, fighting out of New York, Tiao Macale!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Glen Keller!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Eddie Farnsworth and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keller throws a head kick that misses.
Keller throws a sloppy head kick and Macale moves out of range easily.
Macale throws out a loose jab but Keller uses good head movement to avoid it.
Macale connects with a high kick.
Macale pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Keller throws a head kick but Macale moves out of range.
Keller takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
The crowd cheers as Macale lands an impressive looking overhand right. Keller doesn't seem phased though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nice body kick from Macale.
Keller looks gassed!
Macale turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Keller closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Macale scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Keller doesn't seem bothered though.
Macale lands a glancing blow to the side of Keller's head.
It looks like Glen Keller has been cut.
Macale connects with a body shot that sends Keller's belly button to the back.
and Macale counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Keller! He's just covering up as Macale starts to tee off till referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tiao Macale!
