Sheffield's entrance music is New Model Army - Vagabonds. A fine choice. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lance throws a series of strikes that have Sheffield backpedaling.
Lance scores with a jab to the body.
Lance connects with a solid leg kick.
Rick Lance seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lance listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lance gets a double leg takedown into Sheffield's guard.
Lance engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Sheffield preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Lance is stalling in the full guard.
Lance has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
It looks like Lance might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Rick Lance was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Whack! Lance lands a heavy head kick that drops Sheffield. The ref tackles Lance to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Sheffield was done.
