Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Boris Becker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pung Rundgung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Becker comes into the arena with Justus Köhncke - Timecode blaring out of the sound system. Rundgung comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bullsonparade kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Boris Becker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Pung Rundgung!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rundgung stuffs the takedown attempt from Becker. Becker gets slowly back to his feet.
Becker slips under a jab.

Becker drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Becker.

Rundgung throws a big shot that misses.
Rundgung throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Becker shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rundgung as he jumps to the side.

and Becker takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Rundgung throws a lazy right hand but Becker sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Becker shoots in but Rundgung avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Rundgung tests Becker's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Becker manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Rundgung on his heels. He'll look to pass Rundgung's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Becker slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Becker fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Becker postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Becker misses with the ground and pound.
Rundgung gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Rundgung is looking for a sweep. Becker is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rundgung slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Becker drops back, looking for a kneebar! Rundgung looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Rundgung looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Rundgung!

Rundgung is trying to get an arm triangle but Becker is defending well.
Rundgung wants to lay and pray for a moment but Becker keeps working.

Rundgung is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Becker knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

That was a close round but I would say that Boris Becker will probably get the nod.

Rundgung bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Becker's guard.

Becker is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Becker has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rundgung is working away from the top position though.

It looks like Boris Becker has been cut.

Becker is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Rundgung can't fight it off and eventually Becker manages to take the fight to the floor. Rundgung looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Boris Becker.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Becker, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
