Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Kahn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andres Bonifacio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kahn comes into the arena with Boris Brejcha - Flockentanz blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Bonifacio's choice of entrance music: push me!!!. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kahn throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bonifacio was covering up waiting for the punch and Kahn finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Kahn is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Kahn drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kahn jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Kahn drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bonifacio manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kahn has Bonifacio in his guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Kahn will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Kahn is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Bonifacio frees his head nicely. Oh but Kahn has switched to an armbar! Bonifacio is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
