Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jason Voorhees!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Gerald Young II!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young II shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Voorhees defends it nicely.
Young II throws a right hand that Voorhees ducks under and follows up with a left that Voorhees also avoids with ease.
Voorhees stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Voorhees wants it to stay on the feet.
Young II keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
No joy there for Young II, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Young II misses with a takedown attempt - Voorhees sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Young II has gone for a leg lock! Voorhees slips out almost immediately though and dives into Young II's guard.
Young II is breathing heavily.
Voorhees is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Voorhees looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Young II with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

That's time! Voorhees's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Voorhees.
Gerald Young II seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Voorhees feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Voorhees connects with a nice short shot to Young II's temple.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Voorhees tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Voorhees has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Young II takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Young II seems a little lost for a moment, as Voorhees dominates the positioning.
Voorhees creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Voorhees works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Young II takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Gerald Young II has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Voorhees is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Young II's shoulder. That is not cool.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Well Voorhees has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
