Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dade Brookins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krzysztof Nowak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nowak circles away from the clinch attempt.
Brookins misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nowak closes the distance and clinches up with Brookins, looking for a takedown. Nowak pushes Brookins against the cage but Brookins circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nowak shoots in for a takedown but Brookins shows good takedown defense.
Brookins takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Nowak tries to clinch
and Brookins counters with a good low kick that Nowak was not able to check.

Krzysztof Nowak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nowak fails to land the takedown.
Dade Brookins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Krzysztof Nowak.

Nowak shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Nowak showed some decent athleticism there.
Brookins is looking to escape.

Nowak is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Brookins defends it well.

Nowak decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Nowak ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brookins moves away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Brookins looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Brookins lands a nice shot that snaps Nowak's head back.
Nowak fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Brookins tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nowak paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nowak is trying hard to land a takedown here. Brookins sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Nowak is looking to land body kicks.
Nowak throws a head kick but Brookins moves out of range.
Brookins stuffs the takedown attempt from Nowak. Nowak gets slowly back to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nowak is trying hard to land a takedown here. Brookins sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Brookins connects with an inside leg kick.

Brookins closes the distance and pushes Nowak back into the cage.
Brookins fails to pull the fight into his guard.
A right hook to the body lands for Brookins.
Brookins has Nowak pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Nowak manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Nowak wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Brookins.
Brookins has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Nowak is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Brookins breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Brookins tries to clinch but Nowak is having none of it.
Nowak looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brookins is fending him off so far but Nowak persists. Nope, Brookins circles away and we're back to standing.
Nowak takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A nice combination there by Brookins.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Nowak avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Nowak has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

and Brookins counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Nowak! He's just covering up as Brookins starts to tee off till referee steps in and stops the fight!
