The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dick throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Taborda.
Taborda shoots in but no luck this time.
Taborda lands an overhand right.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dick looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dick connects with a good right hand that stumbles Taborda. Taborda circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Tarzan Taborda has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sloppy strikes from Dick. Those never looked like landing.
Dick keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Dick moves out of range as Taborda strikes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Taborda fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Dick is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Taborda moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
