Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between M I Callis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Hudson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Callis comes to the cage accompanied by The Humans Are Dead. Hudson has chosen Roll Over DJ as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, William Gold and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Callis throws a series of punches but Hudson moves out of range.
Hudson slips under a jab from Callis.

and Callis counters with a stiff right hand.
Callis misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hudson is defended easily by Callis.

Callis has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Callis seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Callis is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hudson has escaped the position, nice work there.

Callis remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
