Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Saulo eiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Cote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). eiro comes to the cage accompanied by Never Scared. Cote is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Drake-City Is Mine. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
eiro tries to clinch up but Cote circles away and keeps his distance.
Cote throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

eiro gets a takedown into half guard.

eiro is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Cote moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Cote isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. eiro stacks Cote on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by eiro!

eiro is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Cote has escaped the position, nice work there.

eiro stands up and we're back to a striking position.
eiro shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cote pinned against the cage. Cote gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

eiro throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cote's waist but Cote gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing eiro off to one side.

cage is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by eiro.

Oh eiro is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Cote is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. eiro knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften eiro for a finish.
