The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Plug will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Johnson up against the cage.

Johnson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Plug lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Johnson circles away quickly and effectively.
Plug throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Johnson.
Plug throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Johnson.
Johnson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Plug just misses with a punch to the body.

Johnson rushes Plug and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Johnson is looking to chop away at Plug's legs.
Plug throws out a loose jab but Johnson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Plug swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Butt Plug seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Plug gets a clinch.

Johnson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Plug uses from the top position.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Johnson is on top in guard.

Plug is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Johnson defends well.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Plug is trying to maintain the position but Johnson is very close to passing his half guard.

Plug is refusing to be controlled, as Johnson sits in half guard.

Johnson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Johnson is looking for a kimura but Plug is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Johnson to get the leverage.
