Franklin comes into the arena with Mexican Hat Dance blaring out of the sound system. Dela has chosen BLUNT- The Iron Maiden as his entrance music. Jake Franklin could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Sarge Dela's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dela scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Dela tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Dela tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Franklin being controlled for a moment.

Dela trying to control the action but Franklin is working from the bottom.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Franklin is in a horrible position here. Dela smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Dela has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Franklin seems to have got his legs back now.
Franklin is bucking up trying to escape but Dela cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Franklin is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Dela cracks Franklin with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sarge Dela dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Franklin throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Dela counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Jake Franklin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Franklin takes one to the side of the head.
Franklin ducks right into an uppercut from Dela.
Franklin takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Dela thumps Franklin with a low kick.
Dela comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dela. Franklin does a little dance to reset his feet.
Franklin takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Franklin looks to land a left hand but Dela moved out of range nicely.

Dela closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Dela is trying to control the action in half guard but Franklin is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Sarge Dela has got the better of the ground game so far.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Dela frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Dela lands a big shot there that rocks Franklin but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Franklin is bucking up trying to escape but Dela cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Dela lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dela thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
The referee warns Franklin that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Franklin is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dela is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Franklin goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Dela!
