Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nolan Baine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Cutty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baine comes into the arena with Bagpipes From Baghdad blaring out of the sound system. Bill Cutty will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cutty shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Baine eats them both and turns towards Cutty to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Cutty throws a body punch but Baine moves out of range.
Baine misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cutty has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Baine.
Baine connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Cutty's hands.
It looks like Bill Cutty has been cut.
Cutty throws a nice looking combination but Baine bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Baine scores with a kick to the midsection.
Cutty looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cutty takes one to the side of the head.
A slow jab from Baine misses its intended target.

Cutty tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A slapping leg kick lands for Baine.
Cutty slaps away a takedown attempt from Baine, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Baine moves into the clinch.

Baine escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nolan Baine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Baine closes the distance and pushes Cutty back into the cage.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Baine.
Baine breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Baine shoots in for a double leg but Cutty sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Cutty misses with a few strikes there.
Baine tries for a takedown but Cutty sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nolan Baine. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Baine throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cutty displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Baine throws out the jab.
Bill Cutty is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Baine darts in and clinches Cutty up against the cage.

Baine misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Baine has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Cutty regains guard immediately.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Cutty really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Baine. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Baine moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Baine misses with a few strikes there.
Baine connects with a nice cross there... Cutty is looking wobbly and Baine recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Cutty to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Baine jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
