Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bill Oddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Kerensky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Alexander Kerensky!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kerensky ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Oddy moves away.
Alexander Kerensky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like Bill Oddy has been cut.

Oddy instigates a clinch.

Kerensky pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Oddy tries to move into range but Kerensky moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kerensky throws a looping overhand right but Oddy ducks down to avoid it.

Kerensky stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kerensky wants it to stay on the feet.

Oddy doesn't manage to clinch there - Kerensky circles away.
Kerensky feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Oddys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!


Bill Oddy's cut is getting worse.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Oddy takes one to the chin there.

Oddy tries for a takedown but Kerensky sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Oddy darts in trying to clinch
and Kerensky counters with a one-two to the body.
Kerensky throws a series of punches but Oddy avoids them all with ease.
Kerensky swings for the body but Oddy moves out of range.
Kerensky misses with a hook. Oddy ducked under it nicely.

Oddy closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Oddy goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Kerensky rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Oddy's guard! Nice work there by Kerensky!

Kerensky is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Oddy shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kerensky defends it nicely.

Oddy closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
