Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Howe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Big (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howe is looking to clinch but Big is avoiding it.
Howe tries to clinch there but Big circles away.
Howe throws a right and a left that Big avoids nicely.
Big fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Howe manages to avoid it.
Big takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Big shoots for a double leg takedown but Howe sprawls well. He's pushed Big's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Howe prevents the takedown attempt.
Howe prevents a body shot from Big.

Big has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Howe clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Big working for a choke but Howe is defending well.
Big is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Big gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Big gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Big apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Howe tries to clinch up but Big circles away and keeps his distance.
Kevin Big seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Howe lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Big circles away quickly and effectively.

Howe drives through and clinches with Big against the cage.
Big is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Howe pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Howe leaves Big with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Big dives in and grabs Howe's left leg, looking for a takedown. Howe pushes down on Big's head and hops out.

Big jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Howe walks away with a smile on his face. Big gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Howe looks to land a combination. Big sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
