Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Gardner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maciej Rybinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gardner comes to the cage accompanied by Stavesacre - Minuteman. Maciej Rybinski has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Aaron Gardner's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jorge Garcia and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rybinski throws a half hearted mid kick.
Gardner cracks Rybinski with a right hand to the side of the head.
Gardner takes the fight into the clinch.
Gardner tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Gardner looking for a takedown.
Gardner stalling in the clinch.
Rybinski has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Rybinski escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gardner lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Gardner.
Gardner throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rybinski was covering up waiting for the punch and Gardner finishes the takedown easily into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gardner content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Gardner looking to sit in guard and control but Rybinski gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gardner has his hands on Rybinski's head, controlling the position.
Rybinski won't allow Gardner to sweep him here.
Gardner manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Rybinski wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Gardner scoring with strikes but Rybinski is staying in there.
Gardner tries to control but Rybinski wriggling away.
You get the feeling that Rybinski really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Rybinski in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Rybinski is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Poor strikes thrown by Gardner there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Gardner lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Gardner has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Gardner cracks Rybinski with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Gardner lands a big shot there that rocks Rybinski but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Rybinski is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gardner loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Rybinski scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Gardner land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Gardner stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aaron Gardner!
