Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Kilborne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mateusz Ciechu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Kilborne - that will leave a mark!
Kilborne avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kilborne tries to clinch but Ciechu is having none of it.
Ciechu shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kilborne defends it nicely.
Kilborne thuds his shin into the meat of Ciechu's side.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kilborne looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ciechu changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kilborne looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ciechu tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kilborne smiles and moves away.

Kilborne closes the distance and clinches up with Ciechu, looking for a takedown. Kilborne pushes Ciechu against the cage but Ciechu circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Kilborne throws a leg kick which misses Ciechu's front leg but catches the back leg as Ciechu tries to avoid it.

Ciechu is trying to hold Kilborne in close to prevent damage but Kilborne has managed to pass into half guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Ciechu counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Kilborne has momentary wrist control but Ciechu slips an elbow through the middle.
Kilborne is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Ciechu dives into side control.
Ciechu remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kilborne dodges the ground and pound from Ciechu.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Mateusz Ciechu has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Ciechu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kilborne's waist but Kilborne gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ciechu off to one side.
Ciechu tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kilborne sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ciechu somewhat.
That kick from Kilborne tenderised Ciechu's leg. Ciechu is trying to keep his angry face on.
Ciechu closes the distance and clinches up with Kilborne, looking for a takedown. Ciechu pushes Kilborne against the cage but Kilborne circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Kilborne knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ciechu on the ground.

Mateusz Ciechu comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Ciechu has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
