Anderson comes to the cage accompanied by ready to Roll, The Black Dahlias. Lachlan Anderson has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson swings for the body but Miles moves out of range.
Miles avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Anderson tries for a takedown but Miles sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Anderson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Miles uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Anderson.
Good leg kick by Anderson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Miles misses with a body shot.
Anderson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Anderson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Anderson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Miles shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Anderson pinned against the cage. Anderson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Miles lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Anderson shoots in for a takedown but Miles shows good takedown defense.

Miles throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Anderson throws a looping overhand right but Miles ducks down to avoid it.
Anderson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Miles.
Miles shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Miles shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Anderson sprawls well. Anderson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Miles gets slowly back to his feet.

Anderson shoots in but Miles avoids the takedown attempt easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Miles lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Anderson circles away quickly and effectively.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Miles can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Anderson controls the pace.
