Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kily Gonzales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mac Danzig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danzig has chosen the Smiths - Meat Is Murder as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Paulo Santos and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danzig throws an overhand right that lands on Gonzales's shoulder, as Gonzales tries to avoid the shot.
Danzig walks into a jab.
Danzig throws a head kick but Gonzales moves out of range.
Danzig has managed to clinch.
Danzig keeps control of Gonzales as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Danzig's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A punch combination from Danzig misses.
Danzig swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Danzig leaves Gonzales with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Gonzales feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Kily Gonzales.
Gonzales tries to sprawl but Danzig drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Danzig wants to pass the guard but Gonzales is defending well.

Gonzales tries to kick Danzig off but Danzig keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Danzig passes to full mount!
Danzig is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Gonzales has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Gonzales!

Danzig is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Gonzales frees his head nicely. Oh but Danzig has switched to an armbar! Gonzales is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
