The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nahka changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nowak looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Nowak looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Nowak is pushing Nahka's head away, looking to escape. Nahka manages to hold on to the position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
You can see the frustration on Nowak's face as Nahka controls the position.
Nahka tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Nahka has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Nahka lands a few punches from side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The referee asks Nahka politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Nahka prefers to stall for the moment though.

Nahka is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Nowak is trying to escape and Nahka transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Nowak is forced to tap! Nice work there by Nahka! Very nice indeed!
