The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harisson jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Julien Escobedo has been cut.
Harisson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Escobedo's waist but Escobedo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Harisson off to one side.
Escobedo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Harisson is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Escobedo.
It looks like Phil Harisson has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Escobedo throws a nice looking combination but Harisson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Harisson fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Escobedo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Escobedo wants it to stay on the feet.
Julien Escobedo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phil Harisson.
Escobedo pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Harisson back to the cage. Escobedo follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Escobedo tries a head kick but it misses.

Escobedo shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Harisson eats them both and turns towards Escobedo to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Escobedo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Escobedo circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Harisson drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Escobedo follows Harisson to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
