Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hanibal Belic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Babtist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Belic gets a takedown into half guard.

Babtist is looking for a sweep. Belic is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Babtist really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Belic. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Belic is nestled in close to Babtist, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Babtist is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Babtist has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Belic is working away from the top position though.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Belic connects with a nice short shot to Babtist's temple.

You can see the frustration on Babtist's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

A big strike lands for Belic! That's really hurt Babtist and he's turned his back - Belic keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Belic jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
