The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ting throws a solid leg kick but Granger takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Ting.
Granger showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ting.
Ting swats away the attempt to clinch by Granger.
Granger misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Granger throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ting tries to clinch there but Granger circles away.

Granger is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ting has escaped the position, nice work there.
Ting really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Granger. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ting wants to get back to his feet but Granger drags him back down.
