Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Niko Tresh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caleb Dickson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dickson misses with a two punch combination.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Tresh!

It looks like Caleb Dickson has been cut.
Tresh digs a good hook to Dickson's body.
Tresh throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dickson's waist but Dickson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tresh off to one side.
Tresh tries to bum rush Dickson with a series of wild strikes but Dickson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Dickson shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Tresh wants to get back to full guard.
Dickson looks to land a strike but Tresh avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Dickson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tresh swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tresh will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Tresh had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dickson defends it easily.

Tresh is looking for a triangle but Dickson pushes his legs off easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tresh tries to buck Dickson off but Dickson is having none of it.
Dickson tries to advance to mount but can't.
Dickson fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Tresh manages to work his way to half guard, despite Dickson's best efforts.

Dickson is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Tresh still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Tresh has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Tresh is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dickson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Tresh has hold of Dickson's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Dickson tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Tresh cranks the arm and Dickson screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Dickson, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
