The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Il looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sloppy strikes from Chest. Those never looked like landing.
Chest misses with a series of wild punches.
A left and a right from Chest both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Kim Jong Il has been cut.
Il moves out of range of the strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Chest throws a lazy right hand but Il sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Il slips a jab from Chest.
Dick Chest seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chest leaves Il with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Chest throws a lazy uppercut
and Il counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Chest misses with a double jab
and Il counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Il drops back, looking for a kneebar! Chest looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Chest looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Chest!
Il is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Chest off and has taken his back!
Il is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Chest has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Il has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Chest taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Il doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kim Jong Il!
