Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shouyu misses with a hook.
Mags looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Mags tries to score a power double leg takedown but Shouyu sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mags somewhat.
Shouyu lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Shouyu takes the fight into the clinch.
Shouyu wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Shouyu throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Shouyu escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Shouyu gets the takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Mags parries the strikes from Shouyu easily there. Shouyu is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Mags to escape.
The strikes coming from Shouyu are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Shouyu is trying to get an arm triangle but Mags is defending well.
Mags tries to buck Shouyu off but Shouyu is having none of it.
Shouyu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mags. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mags takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Shouyu is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Shouyu wants to stand but Mags is controlling his arm.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Shouyu lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Shouyu gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Shouyu obliges.

Shouyu tightens his grip and picks Mags up, before dumping him to the ground. Mags manages to land in guard.

Shouyu decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Mags, up you get!

Shouyu has Mags up against the cage in a clinch.
Shouyu lands a knee to the head.

Shouyu throws a sloppy strike and Mags has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Shouyu is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Mags!
