The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Minoshima sprawls well. Minoshima wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.

Minoshima rushes Jones and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Minoshima scores with a shot to the side of Jones's head.
Jones blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Minoshima lands an uppercut.
Minoshima tries to throw a body punch but Jones avoids it by throwing Minoshima back against the cage.
Minoshima presses Jones against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Stalling in the clinch from Jones.
A nice left hand lands by Minoshima.
Minoshima works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Minoshima lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Jones is breathing heavily.

Minoshima breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jones gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Minoshima gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Jones is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
