The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kopylov buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Pola steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kopylov.
Pola slips under a jab from Kopylov.
Pola throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kopylov swats away the attempt to clinch by Pola.
Kopylov moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Kopylov showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Pola.
Kopylov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pola works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pola paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Pola blocks a head kick by Kopylov.
Pola throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kopylov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Kopylov tries to keep at a distance but Pola has taken the fight into the clinch.
Pola doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Pola misses with a short punch on the inside.
Kopylov blocking some punches.
Pola pushes Kopylov back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Kopylov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Pola walks into a straight right hand from Kopylov.
Sloppy strikes from Pola. Those never looked like landing.
Pola moves away from the strike by Kopylov.
Kopylov uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pola.
Pola takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Kopylov lands with a kick to the temple. Pola shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Vladimir Kopylov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pola sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Pola looks gassed!
Pola lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kopylov circles away quickly and effectively.

Pola ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Kopylov misses with a few strikes there.
Pola tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kopylov paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kopylov looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kopylov cracks Pola with a good jab.
Kopylov cracks Pola with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Pola tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Kopylov pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Pola is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
