The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terrible tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Tiger manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Tiger throws a right hand that Terrible ducks under and follows up with a left that Terrible also avoids with ease.
Terrible fails in his attempt to clinch.

Tiger gets caught napping as Terrible dives in and scores a takedown. Tiger manages to retain guard.
Terrible is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Tiger is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Terrible with a flurry of punches that miss.
Tiger can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Terrible controls the pace.

Terrible looks to land a combination. Tiger sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Tiger throws a leg kick but Terrible sees it coming and moves out of range.
Terrible avoids a punch combination nicely.
Terrible shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tiger as he jumps to the side.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tiger walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Terrible checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Tiger misses with a series of wild punches.
Tiger lands a nice looking body kick.
Tiger keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Terrible pushes Tiger up against the cage in a clinch.

A clash of legs there as Tiger blocks the low kick.
Tiger throws a wild body kick that Terrible sees coming a mile off.
A chopping leg kick lands by Tiger.

It looks like Tomahawk Terrible has been cut.

Tiger will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Tiger buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Tiger throws a combination. Terrible tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Tiger.
Terrible is not content to let Tiger control the position.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Tiger fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Terrible has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Terrible seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tiger does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Terrible takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
