Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Robert Hall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hugh Jass!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jass misses with a two punch combination.
Jass throws a head kick that looked like it stung.


It looks like Robert Hall has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jass tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Jass rushes Hall and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Jass can't break the clinch.

Hall pulls guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Hall is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Jass trying to control but Hall is working from the bottom.
Jass won't allow Hall to sweep him here.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Hugh Jass was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Hall takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Hall blocks a head kick by Jass.
Jass throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hall swings for the body but Jass moves out of range.
Hall could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Good work by Hall as he checks the leg kick.

Jass gets tackled into the cage by Hall. Hall maintains the clinch.
Hall is pushing Jass up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Hall misses with a short punch on the inside.
Hall has Jass pressed against the cage, preventing Jass from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Hall taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

Hall gets control of Jass's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hall will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Jass lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Hall pulls Jass in to control the position.
Jass wants to get up but he can't break Hall's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hall working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jass doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jass manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Hall is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Jass frees his head nicely. Oh but Hall has switched to an armbar! Jass is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
