Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nobuhiro Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jayden Ray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nakamura comes to the cage accompanied by Breathe. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nobuhiro Nakamura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jayden Ray!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ray throws a right and a left that both miss.
Nakamura misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ray misses with a double jab

and Nakamura counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Ray taking some punishment here, with Nakamura in his half guard.
Nakamura works his way into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ray manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Nakamura is refusing to be controlled, as Ray sits in half guard.
Nakamura is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Ray is trying to control. Nakamura wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Nakamura is looking for a sweep. Ray is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nakamura is concentrating on defense, preventing Ray from advancing position.
Ray is trying to control. Nakamura wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Jayden Ray has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Nakamura fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ray looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Nakamura closes the distance and clinches up with Ray, looking for a takedown. Nakamura pushes Ray against the cage but Ray circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A left lands for Ray.

It looks like Nobuhiro Nakamura has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nakamura drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Ray takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Ray misses with a double jab
and Nakamura counters with a left to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nakamura uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ray.
Nakamura on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Nakamura swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nice takedown defense from Ray. No joy for Nakamura on that attempt.
Nakamura walks straight into a right hand from Ray - that's dropped him! Ray jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Nakamura from any more punishment! Nakamura complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
