The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kassimatas looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Zbogdanca manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Zbogdanca wants to clinch.
Zbogdanca stuffs the takedown attempt from Kassimatas. Kassimatas gets slowly back to his feet.
Kassimatas misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kassimatas tries to clinch up but Zbogdanca circles away and keeps his distance.
Kassimatas shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Zbogdanca as he avoids it easily.
Zbyszko Zbogdanca has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mirko Kassimatas.

Kassimatas wants to clinch up but Zbogdanca keeps it at a distance.

Zbogdanca closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Zbogdanca has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Zbogdanca is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Kassimatas is surviving well by controlling Zbogdanca's body position as best he can.

Zbogdanca looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Zbogdanca has control of Kassimatas's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kassimatas regains control of the situation pretty easily.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Zbogdanca is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Kassimatas is surviving well by controlling Zbogdanca's body position as best he can.

Zbogdanca has hold of Kassimatas's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kassimatas manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Zbogdanca moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Kassimatas has worked his arm free - good work by Kassimatas!

Zbogdanca wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kassimatas, who protects the arm well.

Zbogdanca has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Kassimatas is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Zbogdanca yanks on the arm and Kassimatas is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Zbogdanca.
