Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kev Randle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Ivan Emelianenko has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Viktor Lagutenko and Ivan Kurochkin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko scores with a jab. Randle acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

It looks like Kev Randle has been cut.
Randle throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Emelianenko's waist but Emelianenko gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Randle off to one side.
Randle changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Emelianenko tries to avoid it but Randle manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Emelianenko to the ground. Emelianenko escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Randle fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Emelianenko sprawls well initially but Randle persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Randle not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Emelianenko is trying to stand up here but Randle is controlling him well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Emelianenko wants to control but Randle is keeping busy.
Randle is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Randle is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Emelianenko can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Let's hope that Randle has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
It looks like Randle might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Randle looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Emelianenko knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Randle on the ground.

Randle takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Emelianenko is bucking up trying to escape but Randle cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Randle cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Randle postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Emelianenko looks a forlorn figure.

Whack. That's a big, big shot from Randle! Emelianenko is out cold! This one is all over!
