Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Igor Zhirkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benjamin Brownie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zhirkov kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Russian National Anthem. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhirkov throws a right and a left that both miss.
Brownie lands a head kick!
Brownie feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Zhirkovs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Zhirkov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Brownie moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Brownie throws a head kick that Zhirkov semi-blocks.
Zhirkov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
No luck for Zhirkov with that takedown attempt.
Brownie wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Zhirkov is breathing heavily.
Zhirkov closes the distance and clinches up with Brownie, looking for a takedown. Zhirkov pushes Brownie against the cage but Brownie circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Brownie avoids the body shot from Zhirkov.
Zhirkov fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Igor Zhirkov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Zhirkov takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brownie throws a head kick that half lands.
Brownie moves into range and connects with a jab.
Brownie connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Zhirkov is rocked!
Zhirkov ducks under a wild hook from Brownie.
Oh Zhirkov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brownie cracks Zhirkov's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Zhirkov slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Brownie can do further damage! This one is done, son!
