The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawk takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Hawk walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Marciano checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Hawk tries for a takedown but Marciano sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Marciano keeps the fight on the outside.
Marciano fakes the leg kick and cracks Hawk in the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A nice combination there by Marciano.
Hawk gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Hawk tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Marciano is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Hawk buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Hawk!! Hawk is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Marciano throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
