Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mirco Diprivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Domino Torreto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mirco Diprivan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Domino Torreto!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torreto tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Diprivan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Torreto shoots for a double leg takedown but Diprivan sprawls well. He's pushed Torreto's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mirco Diprivan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diprivan leaves Torreto with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Diprivan misses with a two punch combination.
Torreto fails with a takedown attempt.

Torreto changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Diprivan tries to avoid it but Torreto manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Diprivan to the ground. Diprivan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Diprivan lands a takedown into guard.
Torreto has control of Diprivan's left arm, preventing Diprivan from doing any damage.

Torreto working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Diprivan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Diprivan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Diprivan keeps the fight on the outside.
Diprivan will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Torreto.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mirco Diprivan will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Diprivan has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Diprivan tries to bum rush Torreto with a series of wild strikes but Torreto uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Torreto throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Diprivan's waist but Diprivan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Torreto off to one side.

Diprivan throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Torreto's head.

Torreto throws a right hand that Diprivan ducks under and follows up with a left that Diprivan also avoids with ease.
Torreto throws a series of punches but Diprivan avoids them all with ease.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mirco Diprivan.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Diprivan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
