The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Severs connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Severs jabs at Smierdzielowski's body.
Severs lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Smierdzielowski keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Smierdzielowski shoots in and gets a takedown into Severs's guard.

Smierdzielowski drops back looking for a leg! Severs is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Severs manages to kick Smierdzielowski off! Smierdzielowski jumps back into Severs's guard.
Severs on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Severs tries to get out of the position.
Smierdzielowski drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Smierdzielowski seems to have locked his on tight now - Severs screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Smierdzielowski, as he picks up the win!
