PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dong Chim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Perry Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cox has chosen Solitaire Unraveling as his entrance music. Perry Cox told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chim steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cox.
Cox looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Cox takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Cox tries to land a front kick but Chim steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Perry Cox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Cox counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Cox throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
