Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Khyen Heimdall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mikkel Bukholt Nielsen!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nielsen works over Heimdall's head and body with a nice combination.
Nielsen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Heimdall paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nielsen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nielsen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Heimdall tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nielsen was well out of range. Poor timing from Heimdall.
Nielsen misses with a takedown attempt

and Heimdall counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Heimdall wants to take a breather but Nielsen is having none of it.
Nielsen has hold of Heimdall's hands but Heimdall slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nielsen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Heimdall slips a nice elbow through Nielsen's hands, connecting with Nielsen's forehead.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Heimdall is nestled in close to Nielsen, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Heimdall trying to control the action but Nielsen is working from the bottom.

Heimdall seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Nielsen has recovered full guard.
Heimdall lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Heimdall wants to pass the guard but Nielsen is keeping the position.
Heimdall postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Heimdall is working Nielsen over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Nielsen wants to stand up but Heimdall is controlling him.
Nielsen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Heimdall chips away with some ground and pound.
Heimdall lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Heimdall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nielsen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Nielsen not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Heimdall tries to free his leg and advance position but Nielsen is retaining full guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Heimdall pushing down on Nielsen's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Heimdall lands with a punch from half guard.
Heimdall trying to mount his opponent but Nielsen defends it.
Heimdall takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Heimdall uses his free foot to push down on Nielsen's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Nielsen.
Heimdall has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Nielsen's face.

Nielsen is rocked!
Nielsen wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Heimdall looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Heimdall raining down shots from the mount!

Nielsen is bucking up trying to escape but Heimdall cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Nielsen takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Heimdall cracks Nielsen with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
