Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rio Lord (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lord gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Alexander Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lord fails with a takedown attempt.
Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Lord, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes Lord against the cage but Lord circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Silva shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Silva is working for a kimura but Lord is defending it quite comfortably.
Lord knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.

Lord shoots for a double leg takedown but Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Lord's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lord is breathing heavily.
Silva has Lord up against the cage in a clinch.
Silva drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lord gets the underhooks and prevents it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Silva drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lord manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Silva has Lord in his guard.
