Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sean Parker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Westside Connection!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connection closes this distance looking for a takedown but Parker circles away.
Connection fails with the takedown

and Parker holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Parker decides to pull guard.
Parker has his hands on Connection's head, controlling the position.
Connection looking to sit in guard and control but Parker gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Parker is in close to Connection's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Parker trying to control but Connection is working from the bottom.
Connection can't keep his opponent in guard - Parker advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Parker is trying to control. Connection wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Connection is defending against the submission attempts here by Parker.
Connection tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Connection is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Connection wants to stand back up but Parker manages to pass into side control.
Connection wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Connection really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Parker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Connection is looking for a sweep.
Connection is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Connection can do anything to dispel that myth.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Parker thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Connection tries to buck Parker off but Parker is having none of it.
Parker lands some shots froms side control.
Connection is looking to regain half guard here but Parker keeps moving and retains side control.
Connection looking for a sweep but Parker has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Parker is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Connection to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Connection shrugs it off.
Parker cracks Connection with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Parker working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
BOOM! Parker connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Parker has control of Connection's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Connection regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Parker has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Connection is forced to tap!
