Sokolov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Pitney tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sokolov swivels and escapes.
Sokolov just misses with a punch to the body.
Sokolov looks to land a right hand but Pitney moved out of range.

Sokolov throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Pitney tumbling to the canvas!
Sokolov wants to get up but he can't break Pitney's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Pitney bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sokolov's guard.

Sokolov scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Sokolov swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sokolov fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Sokolov is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pitney.
Pitney throws a right and a left that both miss.
Pitney gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Sokolov gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
