The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Vladimir Khabensky and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chonbov slaps away a takedown attempt from Dolla, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Chonbov avoids a kick to the body.
Chonbov fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Dolla shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chonbov pinned against the cage. Chonbov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Dolla has his takedown stuffed
and Chonbov counters with a single leg into guard. Dolla didn't expect that.
Ruslan Chonbov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Drew Dolla.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Drew Dolla wasn't active enough on the ground.

Chonbov shoots in looking for a takedown. Dolla tries to sprawl out of it but Chonbov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dolla manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dolla closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Chonbov to the mat! Chonbov manages to get full guard.

Dolla makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Chonbov wriggles free and stands up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dolla.
Dolla lands a leg kick that knocks Chonbov off balance momentarily.
Nice sprawl there from Chonbov as Dolla shoots in.
Dolla clobbers Chonbov with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Ruslan Chonbov has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dolla closes the distance and pushes Chonbov back into the cage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Chonbov fails with the takedown
and Dolla counters with a series of strikes. Chonbov will be more careful next time no doubt.
Chonbov is rocked!
Dolla shoots for a takedown but Chonbov saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dolla is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Chonbov hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
