Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Muad Dib (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marti Pico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Muad Dib has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Muad Dib seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dib throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pico.

Dib gets a takedown into half guard.
Pico moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Dib trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Pico manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Dib wants to sweep here but Pico controlling him for the moment.

Pico postures up.
Dib is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Pico pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dib is keeping the position for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pico works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Dib makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dib.
Dib is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Pico drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dib dives on top into guard.

Dib is stalling in the full guard.
Pico looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Dib wants to control from the top but Pico keeps moving.
Dib stands and throws Pico's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Dib fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Dib scoring with punches and elbows.
Dib working the ground and pound from side control.
Dib wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pico keeps working.
Dib throws a strike aimed at the side of Pico's head but Pico avoids it well.

Pico is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Dib's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Dib! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Pico has tapped! This one is allllll over!
