The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Martinez.
Martinez ducks under a wild hook from Wufie.
Martinez throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Martinez throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wufie moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Wufie dodges the punch combination from Martinez.
No joy there for Wufie, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A right-left combo lands from Martinez.
Zhang Wufie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wufie feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Martinez's calf.
Wufie tries a head kick but it misses.
Wufie keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Martinez tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Martinez looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wufie throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Martinez.
Wufie connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Wufie turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Wufie misses with the combination.
Martinez chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Wufie can pounce on him.
Wufie scores with a head kick. Martinez tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Martinez uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wufie.
Wufie circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Martinez drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Wufie follows Martinez to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zhang Wufie!
Zhang Wufie opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
