Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Enrique Volkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom McGettigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGettigan has chosen Knifeman - The Bronx as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McGettigan lands a left and a right that send Volkov crashing to the mat, dazed. McGettigan thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Enrique Volkov has been cut.
McGettigan avoids the head kick by Volkov.
Oh Volkov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McGettigan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Volkov manages to avoid it.
Volkov seems to have got his legs back now.
McGettigan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Volkov moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

McGettigan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Volkov looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
McGettigan slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
McGettigan is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Volkov had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

The crowd cheers as McGettigan lands an impressive looking overhand right. Volkov doesn't seem phased though.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Volkov gets cracked with a nice right hand there by McGettigan.

and McGettigan counters with a crisp right hand that drops Volkov! McGettigan lets Volkov back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

McGettigan lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Volkov falls backwards - clearly groggy! McGettigan dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
