Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Perko Late (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darin Blood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Late might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to No Easy Way Out . Darin Blood has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Late misses the shot to the body.
Blood moves out of range of the leg kick from Late.

Late gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Blood throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Blood misses with a knee strike.

Late breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Late slips a jab from Blood.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Late checks a leg kick.
A decent looking cross lands there for Late.

and Blood counters with a stiff right hand.

Late dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Blood. That did some damage!
Late fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Blood has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Blood tries to close the distance and clinch but Late swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Late feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bloods jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Blood fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Late on the side of the head.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Late got a little sloppy there for a moment and Blood has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Late has managed to get both his arms back between Blood's legs - danger averted.

Late lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Blood or not.
Blood takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Late jumps guard and drags Blood to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Blood must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
