Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nobutaka Hiyoshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thom Le Bou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hiyoshi comes to the cage accompanied by Baka Survivor . Le Bou has chosen H.A.M. - Kanye west as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hiyoshi throws a head kick but Le Bou moves out of range.
A big right from Le Bou misses.
Hiyoshi throws a jab when Le Bou was well out of range.
Hiyoshi throws a low kick but Le Bou moves out of range easily.
Hiyoshi takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Hiyoshi scores with a jab. Le Bou acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Le Bou just misses with a punch to the body.
Hiyoshi walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Le Bou checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Hiyoshi tries to bum rush Le Bou with a series of wild strikes but Le Bou uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Le Bou seems to have recovered his senses.
Hiyoshi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Le Bou ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Le Bou dives in and grabs Hiyoshi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hiyoshi pushes down on Le Bou's head and hops out.
Le Bou avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Le Bou bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hiyoshi's head.
Le Bou works Hiyoshi's body with a nice hook.
Hiyoshi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Le Bou was well out of range. Poor timing from Hiyoshi.
Le Bou uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hiyoshi.

Le Bou scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hiyoshi doesn't seem bothered though.

Le Bou decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Le Bou takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Hiyoshi is trying to get back to full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Le Bou is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Hiyoshi has managed to free his arm - good work.

Le Bou thows a huge punch but Hiyoshi dodges it nicely.

Le Bou is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hiyoshi is just riding it out for now. Le Bou eventually gives up the hold.
Le Bou has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Le Bou is looking to stall here but Hiyoshi recovers full guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Le Bou takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Hiyoshi wants to slow Le Bou down by chopping away at his legs.

Hiyoshi will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Le Bou is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hiyoshi's half guard.

Hiyoshi is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Le Bou's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Le Bou's back!
Hiyoshi throws strikes from the back but Le Bou rolls nicely and manages to end up in full guard. Nice work by Le Bou.
Le Bou is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Hiyoshi dives into side control.

Le Bou pushes Hiyoshi away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hiyoshi gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Le Bou moves out of range as Hiyoshi throws a body kick.
Hiyoshi paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Le Bou doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Le Bou is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hiyoshi goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Le Bou takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Nobutaka Hiyoshi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hiyoshi looks to score with a jab to the body but Le Bou is just out of range.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
