Illianenko's entrance music is Only God Can Judge Me. A fine choice. Kim has chosen "We Be Clubbin (Eye of the Tiger Remix)" by Ice Cube as his entrance music. Yedo Kim is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Illianenko throws a body punch but Kim moves out of range.
Illianenko is looking to score with low kicks.

Illianenko goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Kim is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Kim scores with a head kick. Illianenko tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Kim counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Kim looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Kim swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Illianenko has managed to clinch.
Still in the clinch, Kim scores with a nice short uppercut.
Kim tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Kim tries a body shot but Illianenko blocks it.
Kim lands with a right to the head.
Illianenko jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kim walks away with a smile on his face. Illianenko gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Kim lands a glancing blow to the side of Illianenko's head.
Illianenko shoots for a double leg takedown but Kim sprawls well. He's pushed Illianenko's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and Kim counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Ivan Illianenko has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Illianenko tries to close the distance and clinch but Kim swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Illianenko throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Kim wants to slow Illianenko down by chopping away at his legs.
Illianenko misses with a two punch combination.
Kim throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Illianenko takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Illianenko tries to clinch there but Kim circles away.

Kim fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Illianenko.

A lazy body kick from Illianenko
and Kim counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Illianenko moves forwards but Kim connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Kim is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Illianenko had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Kim takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Illianenko on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Illianenko rushes Kim and presses him up against the cage.
Kim tries to work over Illianenko's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Kim lands a hook that snaps the head of Illianenko backwards.

Illianenko changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kim fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivan Illianenko. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kim throws a leg kick but Illianenko sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Kim has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kim there as he acknowledges the shot.
Yedo Kim is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Illianenko throws a looping overhand right but Kim ducks down to avoid it.
Kim throws the kick towards the body but Illianenko avoids it.
Illianenko throws a series of punches but Kim moves out of range.

Kim stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kim wants it to stay on the feet.
Illianenko thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Kim if he has to take too many more of those.
Kim scores with a leg kick.
Kim tests Illianenko's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Illianenko lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kim circles away quickly and effectively.

Illianenko chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kim can pounce on him.

Illianenko drops his hands momentarily and Kim takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Kim's corner calls for a 1-2. Kim obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Illianenko goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Illianenko drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Kim lands a nice shot that snaps Illianenko's head back.
Kim scores with a kick to the midsection.

Kim digs a good body shot into Illianenko's ribs.
and Kim counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Illianenko! He's just covering up as Kim starts to tee off till referee steps in and stops the fight!
