Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jakz Skedol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doe comes to the cage accompanied by Lux Aeterna. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skedol chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Doe can pounce on him.
Skedol takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Doe tries to close the distance and clinch but Skedol swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Skedol is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Doe connects with a leg kick. Skedol looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Doe fails in his attempt to clinch.
Doe tries to clinch but Skedol is having none of it.
Skedol avoids the head kick by Doe.

Doe is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Doe wants to clinch up but Skedol keeps it at a distance.
Skedol takes a swing at Doe's ribcage but misses.
Doe thows a body kick. Skedol tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Skedol misses with a hook. Doe ducked under it nicely.
Skedol displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Doe throws out the jab.
Doe throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Doe throws a leg kick which misses Skedol's front leg but catches the back leg as Skedol tries to avoid it.
A big left from Skedol misses.
Doe wants to clinch.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Doe lands with a left to the head.

It looks like Jakz Skedol has been cut.
Doe is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Skedol is defending well for now.

Doe pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Skedol works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Doe throws a body kick that misses.
Doe misses with a jab, cross combination.
Doe goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Good leg kick by Doe there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

A slow jab from Skedol misses its intended target.

Doe tries to close the distance and clinch but Skedol swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Doe counters with a solid body kick.
Doe fails in his attempt to clinch.
Doe fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Skedol looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Doe lands a front kick.
Doe connects with a leg kick. Skedol looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Crunch! Doe slams his shin into Skedol's torso.
Doe throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Skedol blocks a head kick by Doe.
Doe feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Skedol's calf.

Doe thumps Skedol with a low kick.
Doe looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Doe turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Doe fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
The fighters circle momentarily. Doe darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Doe lands with a thumping leg kick.
Doe throws a quick inside leg kick.
Doe throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Skedol.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Doe thows a body kick. Skedol tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Skedol dodges the punch combination from Doe.
Doe lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Doe with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Doe lands a leg kick that knocks Skedol off balance momentarily.
Doe feints and then cracks Skedol's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Skedol down.
Doe scores with a one two! Skedol had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Skedol walks forward, straight into a front kick from Doe.
A slapping body kick lands there for Doe.
A right-left combo lands from Doe.

That has opened up Jakz Skedol's cut even more.
That kick from Doe tenderised Skedol's leg. Skedol is trying to keep his angry face on.
Skedol tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Doe has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Doe is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Skedol is breathing heavily.
A nice leg kick lands there from Doe.

Doe fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Skedol has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Skedol's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

A head kick from Doe lands but Skedol takes it in his stride.

Jakz Skedol's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Doe's corner calls for a 1-2. Doe obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Skedol is rocked!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jakz Skedol's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
