Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Oxmall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kevin Hughes was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oxmall attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Hughes closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Hughes is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Oxmall is staying active underneath Hughes, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Hughes is just content to waste time from the top position. Oxmall takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Hughes wants to control from the top but Oxmall keeps moving.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Hughes misses with a few strikes there.

Oxmall scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Hughes tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Hughes thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Hughes is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Oxmall's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Oxmall's back!

Hughes is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Oxmall has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Hughes has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Oxmall taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Hughes doesn't care though - he's delighted!
